I'm going to a wedding on Friday and, because of various things getting in the way, I'm now frantically looking for a pair of shoes to go with this dress.

I don't want too high a heel - I'd prefer a wedge heel if possible. I do have this pair of shoes but I wasn't sure about the colour.

Please help! I'm on a budget too so thinking of £30 or under, can stretch to £40. Tia

Is the dress plum?

almightygirl Mon 15-Aug-16 22:13:41

Yes it is

Do not wear those shoes! asos has loads and do next day delivery.

I think those shoes are too casual and the wrong colour. Could you do a low heeled sandal?

I second the DO NOT WEAR THOSE SHOES message.

Look in the sales! Dark coloured sandals, small heel.

I like these. Nude heels or wedges. Dune are good.

Low heeled sandals would be fine

I'll have a look at the links now

I'm quite keen on these

I liked the New Look gold ones, but they don't have any left in my size!

I googled Dune and found this:

Is gold okay with plum or would black be better? (I'm rubbish at this style malarky, in case you can't tell grin

Would you ever stay away from the espadrilles? You're as bad as Kate Middleton. Sandals, no rope or raffia heels!!

almightygirl Mon 15-Aug-16 23:46:40

It's just they're comfy to wear!

Nettletheelf Mon 15-Aug-16 23:50:34

Forget comfy for this do. We have your best interests at heart!

almightygirl Mon 15-Aug-16 23:58:11

I know you do. I'm heavy so never feel like thin heels will support me!

Ok, so what about these:

Much better.
