Stretching Shoes

Any tips please?
I want to stretch the width of a shoe at the toe area.

Get some shoe stretch, spray, and voilà. I've just stretched some synthetic ones from Primark. Didn't think it would work.

Timpsons will do it for about £10, but honestly, I think if they are too neat, return them. I have wide, wide feet and have had a load of shoes which I thought would "give" but ended up at the charity shop.

I have a shoe stretcher and spray but sometimes it doesn't work. If they were )£&£ take them to a cobblers and ask them if they think it is possible to stretch them as much as you need

Shove crumpled up damp newspaper into the toes. Apparently.

You can buy wooden shoe stretcher thingies on eBay for about a tenner. See photo.

I've used them successfully on different shoes.The trick is to leave the shoes on the stretcher for several days and keep tightening the screws half a turn or so every day.

The best way to stretch shoes is to put a thick pair of socks on, squeeze them on and wear them for a bit, then try minus he socks. If you need to stretch more then do it again.

It's only the toe section that needs stretching.

I'd still recommend the spray. Particularly if it's just across the toe.
