I have a big celebration in 2 weeks time, I have got a gorgeous dress and shoes but really want to look my best and feel good.
Any suggestions on what I can do in the next 2 weeks to help me look and feel great ?

Drink a lot of water, don't stress, do some pampering and always smile :)

Just unburied filled the brita filter and put it in the fridge to help me drink more water and booked in for my eyebrows to be threaded on Wednesday!

Cut out carbs (or at least eat them for breakfast and then eat only protein and veggies for the other two meals). Exercise. It doesn't really matter what - brisk walks, zumba classes, swim - whatever you can manage. Drink lots of water. Cut out alcohol. Limit sugar to the smallest amount you can manage.

Get a facial, get your hair done and your eyebrows done. You'll immediately feel better for that.

Do some Pilates - will help remind your body of good posture, which makes a huge difference.

Cut carbs, especially sugar and wheat.

Hair, eyebrows and de scuzz feet.

Forgot about my feet. I really must get my nails done too.

I really should have checked this thread before eating 3 pancakes for lunch Blush.

I'm now making a list and sticking it to the fridge (while I grab another glass of water) and about to look at some Pilate on YouTube. I may also dig out 30 day shred as an extra confidence boost.

Thanks everyone.

No carbs. In 2 weeks you'll lose pounds.

No sugar, no alcohol, no caffeine. At least 7 fruit and veg per day, heavy on the veg. Half an avocado either every other day or every day. 2 portions of oily fish a week. Omega 3 supplements, zinc, high dosage vitamin D. 7-8 hours sleep a night, no more, no less. Drink water like it's going out of fashion. Get outside for a walk everyday, even it's just half an hour. Hair cut (and coloured if you do that) now so it'll settle by the day. Manicure, pedicure. Done. Grin

Oh and moisturise whole body after every shower, hand cream and cuticle oil/balm every night before going to sleep. Deep conditioning hair masks.

Depending on what you can afford:

Get teeth cleaned and polished, hair cut and highlighted. Depending on your skin colour, a light spray tan will make you look amazing.
Get your eyebrows threaded or waxed.
Buy a new lipstick. Go a shade bolder than you usually go for.

I was just wondering that Jester, Enid do you do all these things all the time? If so, please give tips on how you stay motivated - I know what I should be doing but always self sabotage. Don't know why and I want to stop.

Oh that's great - well done for drinking well - I only managed 800mls yesterday - must try harder today (she says whilst drinking tea!). How does it look better? Plumper or less redness etc.
