Body oil

So I have recently discovered that I find it much easier to moisturise with body oil rather than cream. I have used the loccitane almond supple skin which is lovely but hugely expensive and nuxe which is also lovely but not much cheaper. I thought I'd cracked it with marks miracle oil from their maison des sentieurs range BUT my husband doesn't like the smell and he really never complains about anything so he must really not like it

Any other suggestions?

Buy a based oil from chemist or ethnic shop and a couple of essential oils and mix your own. Much more versatile

I use almond oil. A couple of quid buys a big bottle.

Burts bees citrus body oil smells lovely. £10 a bottle but it lasts quite a while.

Watching with interest. I've never found an oil that felt really moisturising but it would be easier and quicker than rubbing cream in.

Weleda Sea Buckthorn body oil is nice.
I agree, oil is easier and quicker to use than body creams and lotions.

Bodyshop beautifying oils.
Got them in a sale, also used a code as well. Cheap as chips.
Apply to damp skin after a shower. Beautiful soft skin, and a lovely sheen.

L'Occitane supple skin is lovely, their fabulous oil in the shea range is less expensive.

Also organic coconut oil straight after a shower. My skin loves it.

Mix a little lavender essential oil in with coconut or grapeseed oil. Rub all over.
The smell.....smile

L'occitane is the holy grail for me.

Oooh thank tou all I'd forgotten about body shop and they have a moringa oil which I love the smell of will give that a go x

That's a really popular oil OP. Might have to try that one.
I'm currently using the strawberry one, and it's lovely and light in the heat.
My arms, elbows and shins are far too dry to go without any moisture, and I also like a little in the 'ahem' under boobage area to avoid any rashes.
A little dash of oil rubbed into damp skin, much quicker than body lotion, and less sticky too.
