easy hairstyles for 6yo dd

Dd is 6 and has long straight hair. I can do ponytail, bunches, pigtails and a basic plait. But I want to be able to do more interesting hairstyles for her.I've been practicing French plaits on her this summer (with help of YouTube) but I just can't do them.

Can anyone suggest any other types of simple/easy hairstyles for her?

A sock bun? Couldn't be easier. I use an actual sock rather than one of those donuts. A baby sock.

Check out the Cute Girls Hairstyles channel on YouTube, but look at their oldest videos. Their girls were very young at the start and they did lots of simpler styles and twists. It helped me loads.
