How to sort bleached hair mess

My hair is naturally dark brown. I have bleached it 3 times. Its now yellow at roots and orange about 2 inch from roots. Not sure what to do with it. I have enough bleach left to do it again, and two brightest blonde permanent boxed hair dyes. All advice on the Internet is conflicting I'm so confused!!!!

Oh dear. The yellow roots are caused by the heat of your head warming the bleach closest to your scalp so it has developed more quickly than the rest of your hair, always start bleaching the lengths and do roots last.

Don't put any more bleach on your hair, you may cause irrepairable damage and you will start to get bleach breakage.

I would advise trying a purple toner. Apply to the mid lengths and ends first, then on roots, stick a shower cap on and leave for about 20 mins. That should tone down the orange/yellow tones to more of a cool blonde. Also, use lots of deep conditioning treatments to restore condition.

This stuff is good for reducing the yellow brassiness quickly. I've no idea about the two tone problem though.

Purple shampoo is unlikely to do enough karma.

Wella Colour Fresh toner in Violet is the best purple toner I've used OP. You can get it on Amazon .

Don't bleach it again! Purple toner is good for maintenance but you might need something stronger to fix it initially.

I always use Clairol nice n easy (best on market) ash blonde. Put on roots to neutralise the orange.

To be honest I'd probably either go to the hairdresser to fix it and stay blonde, or go back brown for a while then start again when the condition gets better.

Tbh my hair doesn't feel too damaged yet!! I wanted it blonde not yellow and orange. So basically my best route is to use a toner at this moment in time. Will this make it blond.

I have often had this type of thing happen as I have been bleaching my hair for donkeys years. I know that I would just apply more bleach to the orange lengths and try to avoid the roots just to even out the look and then think what to do next. After all, the most bleached part of your hair is currently the roots so by some people's reckoning that is the most "damaged". Logically if your hair is going to break off it will therefore be at the roots. However it has not yet done so, I doubt it will now. Be brave and carry on to get the look you want. Nothing ventured, nothing gained!

Agree, purple shampoo not enough at this point. You need a toner. An olaplex treatment or 2 will repair some of the damage.

An ash blonde dye contains bleach so I would hold fire with that and use a purple toner for now. The purple neutralises yellow and orange tones so yes it should look blonder.

Bleach damage can start to show up after you've washed your hair a few times, so it may become more noticeable in a few days. Please be careful using more bleach so soon.
