Good exfoliator for extremely sensitive/reactive dehydrated skin

The only good exfoliator for someone with your skin type is the one you leave on the shelf.

Maybe if you describe what you're trying to cure, someone could come up with a suggestion?

You would probably be best using an exfoliating toner instead of something grainy - the nip/fab pads are quite good and pretty gentle.

None. It'll only make it worse. Spend the money on a good moisturizer instead.

Jo the gentlest (most gentle??) face scrub I've used is Johnson & Johnson in a white tube with pink lid. It's very gentle.

It's called Daily Essentials Gentle Exfoliating Wash.
Years and years ago they did a cleansing lotion which I used over and over until they discontinued it!! The day cream they do is nice too as I think about it.

I wouldn't exfoliate very sensitive skin at all.

Have you tried the soap and glory Face Mitt?

You could press as gently as you need, perhaps?

I actually use the scrub gloves (gently) on my face while I'm in the shower...but my skin isn't super sensitive.

Coconuts hello :), omg I used to use that johnsons cleansing lotion! Ph 5.5 or something and was fragrance free I loved it and they had a matching cream in jar that was also fragrance free but they discontinued them and brought out perfumed shite lol! Might look at that exfoliating wash though thank u, do u use it? I can only tolerate exfoliating once a fortnight or so as u know what my skins like!

Oops just looked for that johnsons one online and now remember I tried that before and it's made my skin dry itchy and red :( also think it's fragranced!

No advice as I don't use, but have you tried the Aveeno products?

I've got very sensitive skin (just on my face) and I love them! Use the Daily Moisturising Lotion and hand cream. But I've also found online other Aveeno products that don't seem to be in the shops. Particularly like the Intensive Skin Relief Moisturising Cream, which is thicker but still sinks in very quickly and doesn't feel greasy.

Also ordered their sunscreens as I usually get a reaction from "normal" ones. Haven't used them yet but DD has and they've been fine.

Even water brings me out in a rash but I seem to get away with La Roche Posay for face and every month or 2 the Scrub your nose in it (gently) from Soap and Glory

Sugar mixed with a teeny bit of jojoba oil...mix in palms and use. Simple, effective and gentle.

You could try one of the Paula's Choice lotions. Mine doesn't aggravate my rosacea at all.

Don't use any kind of scrub or exfoliator, nothing grainy. Use a cleansing cream or balm, massage into your dry face and then take it off with a damp muslin cloth or flannel. Rub very gently in circles to exfoliate.

I second the suggestion of a mild acid toner.

Gentle cream exfoliant from dermalohica - it's a face mask rather than scrubby so could be really good for your skin type

I have similar skin. My dermatologist recommends the NeoStrata brand and I use that alongside Eucerin and LRP. This cream is lovely to wear at night. You only need a little bit. It gently exfoliates too.

I have exactly your type of skin and the best thing ever is Paula's Choice Redness Relief. It doesn't sound like it's an exfoliator, but it's a very mild leave-on BHA one. It has transformed my skin. Can't recommend highly enough.
