Best cleansing balm/gel etc

I normally use "Emma Rankin- moringa cleansing balm" which I kinda like it but it reasonably expensive and would like to try something else, would mind paying the same price £30-ish.

Have tried elemis pro collagen cleansing balm, M&S pure natural beauty instance radiance hot cloth cleanser, Liz Earle hot cloth cleanser, pixie nourishing cleansing balm, have listed them there in order of preference (elemis-favourite, pixi-least favourite).

I have dry/oily combination skin and sensitive eyes. I use all with a face cloth and love how they remove the make up very throughly and leave skin soft

Any ideas what to try next?

The body shop camomile one in the tin. I have used some of the ones you mention and prefer this one. And it's cheap!

I prefer it to Liz Earle and M&S, haven't tried the other two.

Chamomile Cleansing Butter from the Body Shop. I much prefer it to the Pixi one - it's much lighter and rinses off more easily.
It's only £10 and a tin lasts me for ages even though I use it every night.

I am a Liz Earle convert. Occasionally I have a bash at a different brand but always revert to LE.

The only other one I've loved was Eve Lom's cleanser but it smelled like shite and was so much more expensive that I couldn't bring myself to buy another tub. Fab for the skin though, and perfect if you've no sense of smell.

Yes the camomile one is lovely. They do an oil too, which is apparently better than here balm for combination skin. Also heard good things about the Boots Botanics one.

I like the Body Shop Camomile too. Also the Boots Botanics cleansing balm.

Cliniques 'take the day off' range specifically the balm and oil (though it's not an oil) are fantastic.

They both take every bit of make off of including the toughest mascara whilst being gentle on skin and eyes. My eyes have never stung with these but have with others

The only 'downside' is that they aren't scented so you don't get the moringa 'luxury' type experience but for sheer cleansing functionality, they can't be beaten

Another vote for Clinique take the day off balm (in purple tub)

Another vote for Bodyshop camomile tin. I have also tried the oil, although I find it uses up faster so I prefer the tin.

I also use the Emma Hardie balm but only buy it when I have a discount code (usually at M&S)...

When I can't afford it I use the Body Shop camomile balm; I double cleanse with their camomile cleansing oil. I really recommend it too!

Body Shop camomile balm is amazing stuff and if you can get with a 40% off code it's very reasonably priced.
It melts off all makeup beautifully.

Another BodyShop Camomile balm here Grin taken off with a hot water wrung muslin cloth.

I have some Lush Ultrabland too, but it's a bit textured so I use that to protect my hairline and ears to do my henna

I'm looking for an alternative to the Clinique balm. It's effective but it smells of oily fat. Smells like rubbing lard into my face :( Might go back to Emma Hardie if I can get a discount code.

I love the Balance Me cleanse and smooth balm, has such a nice scent. I have tried lots of different brands, but always go back to that one.

I have used most of the same ones as you and a few other expensive ones. One of the children bought me the chamomile balm and oil for Mother's Day and I like it almost as much as the more expensive ones.

I love REN Rose Centrifolia Hot Cloth Cleanser. It's magical. I buy it for the DDs, too as I want to get them looking after their skin properly.

Another vote for the body shop chamomile in the tin. I have very sensitive skin (I react to probably 80% of skincare I try) and this has been perfect for me. Would highly recommend.

Eve Lom. It is just amazing.
Pricey, but you only need a really small amount, and it is often on sale with 50% off on Secret Sales/BrandAlley

Lavera products are gorgeous.
Natural/organic too - if you like that option.
I use a combination of that & balance me/ Neal's yard.

The best I've used is Neals Yard Remedies Wild Rose Balm. Using it at least once a day I have noticed a massive difference in my skin. My daughter has acne and I've been getting her to use it too, it's made an improvement .
