Harem pants..

Evening Smile

I'm on the look out for some cool comfy trousers to see me through the summer. I've got lots of palazzo type pants, all floaty and lovely, usually teamed with a vest top.
I need some linen trousers, but in my size they're proving elusive, so I've hit on the idea of harem pants instead. Am I mad? Are they in any way fashionable ( though to be fair I just want to be cool rather than 'cool'!)
I'm fat, size 24, 5ft9inch but with shortish legs and a longer torso. I'm all arse and thigh, I struggle unless trousers are super wide in the leg ( hence my love of palazzo pants).
I bought some comfy lovely plain jersey baggy trousers, but they show every lump and bump and I dare not wear them out of the house at all!
Will I have the same problem with harem pants?. On hols in a couple of weeks ( thankfully in England so I'll pack wellies along with my summer clothes!) and I really need some day clothes to wander about in.
Any advice please?
I have to add, I'm still after linen trousers, but the only ones I've ever found nice to wear are the cheapo Asda ones. All others are too tight in the leg, too tapered, too itchy, wrong colour etc etc. Asda sell out like hot cakes and the only ones in my size are white, which isn't a look I could pull off!
Thank you EnvyFlowers

Id say whatever your comfy jersey trousers will show would be the same in yr harem pants. I guess it depends if you care or not. I have some comfy trousers that are my t home uniform. If i was a size 6, id wear them out but sadly im not

Thanks wizzy. Yeah I thought that would be the case, I wish I didn't care, but I do! Back to the drawing board ..

I'd try Next. They say they go up to a 22 but they're very roomy so I always size down. Here

I got a couple of pairs last year from Asos and they are thick and dont show lumps and bumps. In winter hush do great knitted ones but no use for now

Never thought of Next, thanks for the suggestion. I need to see what material my 'jersey' trousers are and avoid that.. Most seem to have a high percentage of viscose and a low of elastin.
Asda do some fab clothes, I'm keeping my eye out for the wonder jeans in the autumn/winter collections.

Cant help with the harem pants but simply be do some linen (about 39 pounds) and linen blend (around 20 pounds) trousers in size 24.

Is hush really pricy?

Simply be, I'll have a look. I think I want the linen blend, they'll only last a season ( legs rubbing, they split) so I can't justify £39. Do I have to sign up for credit? Or can I just pay? Thanks all Smile
