All I've seen in the shops are Bardot tops.
Do you like them?
What to wear with them?

Capris would be nice. Quite Audrey Hepburn (I love that look).

I wear mine with ankle length slim cut pants ,but I love the Audrey look with flared midi skirts.

Yes tight capris or cigarette trousers.

I love them. I think they can work with almost any kind of jeans or trousers but I don't like them with skirts.

I love them but have got massive boobs!

Would it be a total Nono to wear them with (nice) bra straps showing?

I'm a 32k so strapless is not an option

also interested in whether they work with bra straps on show...

I have worn Boden ruched off-shoulder tops and dresses with (nice) bra straps on show, though possibly I am a total slattern. I think it looks ok...

I wear them a lot. Flowy ones I wear with skinnies or shorts. Tight ones (the majority) I wear with dungarees, dungaree shorts, or a skirt. I don't wear the tight ones with my skinnies because it looks a bit too Grease finale.

As for bra straps - I'm v small so I wear the sort of bras that are pull on and most are designed with the idea in mind that the straps will be seen plus they are made of stretchy stuff not...strap... so it's ok. But I also wear bandeau bras and they work fine too.

Just been out in a black and white stripe one with black bra straps showing. Also some are made with a cami type strap .Shoulders are one of the last bits to show age !

The ones with the over-boob frill are deeply unflattering on me.

The baggier shirt type ones, ditto.

That leaves the fairly tight Jersey ones, which I'd wear under dungarees ATM but not anything else as my tummy is looking rather porky

I don't like them when they come too far down on the neckline - somehow make the wearer look out of proportion and I'd worry I'd accidentally pull it down!

Boyfriend jeans.

Denim skirt if it's a tight fitting one.

I love a Bardot top.
I'm larger of boob than average - 36H and tattooed across my shoulders.
I also wear my bra straps on show sometimes, but generally in a clashing colour, so my favourite blue top I wear a red bra under.
I have a very 50's/alternative style mind you.

I wear a right one tucked in with a full circle skirt, 50s style (and ballet pumps)

One of the reasons I like bardot and cold shoulder tops is they nicely show off my tatts. :)

Some are totally brilliant at hiding mum tum, some really accentuate it so I had massive trying on session and h&m had two lovely ones in crisp cotton that were v forgiving. One pale blue and one blue-white striped. Wearing with high-waisted skinnies, strapless bra and primark jersey vest with straps tucked into bra to enable hoiking up for bf-ing without anyone ever, ever, ever seeing tummy.

Just trawled through 9 million items on website to try and link but as usual site stock bears no resemblance to store stock but take my word for it they are nice!

I love them. I think they are suitable with pretty much everything. From skirts to jeans.

I have a black one, similar shape to the New Look one in your picture, OP. I wear it with cropped skinny jeans (white or denim), or cigarette trousers. I haven't tried it with a skirt, but I guess a narrow/pencil skirt would work as well.

Like you, I didn't spend much on mine, seeing it as a short-lived trend (Peacocks, £14), although I like it more than I thought I would.
