Wedding outfit help!

I'm going to my best friends wedding in a month, it will be my first wedding I've ever been to as an adult (aside from my own).

I'm a size 24-26, apple shape, and 5ft10.

It's difficult to find clothes anyway, never mind something nice enough for a wedding! Could spend up to about £200.

I like this dress from ASOS, and the maxi version too but I'm worried that the rouching in the centre would accentuate my apple-ness:

What about something like this ? Or cheaper version anyway?

I think you're right about the first dress. It's very "paunchy". It would be unforgiving on most of us.
