You know those razor combs- are they okay?

I have short wavy hair , bit longer on the top.
I did think about growing it but decided , no.

If I bought one of those razor combs and did a quick trim round would that work or be a huuuuge mistake?

I'm growing out some dye (it's been hennaed over but the ends are still lighter)

I would say huge mistake. Sorry. I think those are only for the professionals.

I used to cut mine with one, but I had a very choppy, messy bob and that was how I wanted it. It worked really well and I found it much easier to use than scissors! I'm not sure I'd use it for anything I wanted to be exact or tidy though.

I think a hairdresser would be a better idea.

Japanese hairdressers often use razor combs on me to thin my hair so it's not so bulky and heavy - but they have been trained so know how to use them.

I remember my old hairdresser back in NZ was from Hong Kong and told me that in order to pass the hairdressing exam there, you had to be able to cut a bob using only a razor - no scissors allowed! He was a very skilled hairdresser 😃
