I think I like this dress but I may have lost the plot. Opinions please.

I like shift dresses, so I say if the colours are good on you and your arms can take sleeveless, go for it.

I like it, but it does depend on how you wear it... I can see it both looking frumpy or extremely elegant. It's the kind of dress I see a really elegant woman wear to dinner in a resort town with flat sandals and I think...wow, that looks amazingly sophisticated with her tan and her blue suede handbag... But if I saw it on someone in the office in April (while we are all at our pastiest shade from the great British winter) ... It might make her look washed out and a bit ill.

I don't like it myself (probably because I know it would look terrible on me) but I wouldn't go so far as to say you've lost the plot. If the shape and colours work on you it could look fantastic.

I really like it but think it will only work on someone with slim limbs and a tan! (Not me Blush)

I like it - it's very 60s/Boho style.

Wish I had the figure for it.

It's also polyester you could find a dress made from much nicer material for your budget especially with the sales at the moment.

I love love love it!! If I could afford I would buy it right now.

If those colours suit your skin tone then it will look gorgeous.

Thanks for the replies. I am tallish and slimish and have a tan, and will have more of a tan by the time of the August wedding that I want it for. I'm surprised at myself liking it as I normally don't go for patterns.

Any other opinions, keep 'em coming.

I like it. I'm in Milan at moment and can certainly imagine an elegant woman wearing it here with stylish but understated sandals, etc.

I hope you really like it because I think 159 euros for a polyester dress is ridiculous.

Love the dress .. Can see it with a minimal pair of flat sandals and a frame top handle bag not matching the Colours of the dress , maybe tan.

I've paid similar for dresses not made in 'natural ' materials in my time and loved and got lots of use out of them.

I rarely see a dress I like so if it looks good on, I'm not too bothered what its made from.

150 euro for a polyester frock! They have a bloody cheek. Anything that's made of 100% polyester just feels cheap and horrible. And will be very sweat making.

I'm also quite interested in the quality of the clothes on the website. I looked at some of the jackets on there and they all look like very cheap stuff. I once ordered from a similar looking website (advert came up on whilst on MN) what i thought looked like a gorgeous dress, but when it arrived it was the most godawful cheap thing i've ever seen. So bad that i cant bee seen out in it. But the styles on the website look lovely if only the materials used were high quality. So what I'm saying OP is be careful.

I'll see what it likes when it gets here. I know this brand is stocked in a high end department store here so I am assuming it'll be ok. If not it can go back.

Ew no. It's another vulva dress! Grin

What is it with all these fanny patterns? Or is it just me?
