Right... I have a wedding in the middle of August to which I'd like to wear strappy sandals, but my feet and especially my heels are a complete state.

So, I have bitten the bullet and bought Footner.

I never bought I'd say this but I'm getting to see Mumsnet for its true colours. so... (Deep breath)

Anyone want a photo diary?

<hoping at least one person says yes. Thinking of new name in the event of there being a tumbleweed moment....>

Me me me! I've not dared use it yet!

Footner is a treatment available at Boots/Amazon etc. Apparently nothing happens for a couple of days after treatment,

then this....

But after the snake skin shedding, I will apparently be left with baby soft feet.

YabuDabbaDoo Mon 04-Jul-16 20:10:49

I was v saddened after my Footner experience, the only skin that peeled off was the soft bits between my toes. all the leathery stuff stayed firmly welded. And I did stain my duvet cover where one of the socks leaked.

JellyBellyKelly Mon 04-Jul-16 20:11:20

Thank you funtime... I have also pre warned DH!

Patterkiller Mon 04-Jul-16 20:11:33

You need to soak your feet. I did footner and after a week nothing had happened. Then I had a bath and virtually the whole soles of my feet peeled off!

ILoveAGoodBrusselSprout Mon 04-Jul-16 20:14:57

Can't wait to see your progress. I've been thinking about doing this myself

Geneticsbunny Mon 04-Jul-16 20:16:05

JellyBellyKelly Mon 04-Jul-16 20:22:51

ooooh.... Thank you chessie

Purplehonesty Mon 04-Jul-16 20:23:00

Hmm I may join in too. What do you do wth I?

halfgirlhalfturnip Mon 04-Jul-16 20:26:11

I did it last year then forgot all about it until I was chatting to someone in the pool on holiday and absentmindedly rubbed my feet, until to my horror I saw a plume of skin surrounding me.
Consider yourselves warned......blush

AllTheCats Mon 04-Jul-16 20:27:59

I did Footner last Tuesday evening and my feet are peeling like anything right now. After reading the advice about having a bath, I am going to have one shortly. Will do before and after bath photos, just in case and report back!
