URGENT what to wear with a maxi fawn/blue gypsy skirt?

I've just bought this, with a view to wearing it with my denim jacket, but don't know what to wear underneath. I'm going shopping tomorrow, but don't have much time so would like some suggestions. I'm googling like crazy but not really coming up with much.

I'm quite large of nork (and arm) so vest tops are out, but I want a sort of fitted look, rather than floaty.

Can anyone suggest anything in blues/neutrals that would work? It's petrol/petrel (never sure which it should be) blue and a kind of light beigy brown. Thank you vipers

I wear my maxi skirt mainly with a white turtleneck body from topshop. It's thin, so not too warm, and does up round the crotch so nice and fitted

Thanks both. Hadn't thought of a darker blue, that might be nice Faux. Hecky I can't do polo neck things as my norks are too large!
