Can anyone recommend a good one, preferably to order online?

I was looking at some where I live in a local electrical store but they were €150+

I want one ideally with a good light around the mirror, and maximum magnification so that I can really go to town on those chin whiskers Blush

I'd be prepared to pay around £50 I think but I don't know how good the cheaper ones are and also what's the strongest magnification.

How about the Tweezerman one? About £14 in Boots. It's smaller than I think you are looking for ( but it does mean you can take it on holiday - that's when those whiskers really sprout) . It has suckers on the back and you can prop it up over a side lamp that highlights those varmit whiskers well.

I've got a 10x magnifying one, but I've just noticed a 15x one. WARNING. You can see all the wrinkles far too well using one of these. It can be rather dispiriting.

I just use one from Sainsburys, in the kitchen, under the spotlights. Wearing my reading glasses.

If you need it heavily magnified and brightly lit, do you seriously think that joe public can see it?

I have the boots own brand one - I think it was £25 but it was on offer at the time. It has a light all the way round and a magnifying and normal side (both lit).

Thanks, I've had the tweezerman ones before but I keep leaving them in hotel bathrooms and Windows (travel a lot with work)

So it's becoming expensive to replace them.

I want one to sit next to the bedside table on a stand. My bedroom is quite dark so a mirror with a ring of light around it really helps.

Maximum magnification is more for my eyesight without my glasses than anything. And my open pores. Blush

I will check the Boots website, thanks.
