Help me find some (flat) shoes to wear with this please?

Have the dress (looks waayyy better on me than the model) and wearing it to a couple of events this summer - some of which require walking quite some distance. Events not overly smart either (think family lunch not wedding) so the dress is a perfect mix between making an effort and being relaxed.

I have a bright pink bag I am taking - it doesn't show in the photos but there are tiny flashes of pink in it and a colbalt/bright blue cardigan. Just need the shoes.

As much as I love my Vans and birkies not sure if they would be the right shoe to wear though. Loath heels.

So what non-heeled shoes would you wear? Just get some easy navy pumps? Colbalt blue? Can I wear vans? Purlease . Strappy sandals - or would that be too busy?

I'd just get some navy ballet flats.

Try Asda. They do lovely canvas ballet flats for about £6. I like them because my feet don't start to sweat and stink in them and I bin them after a couple of months.

I would go for some wedges, so much more comfortable than traditional heels. Maybe nude or tan?
