Shoes to go with 50s dress

I bought an original 50's dress yesterday. It's cotton and sort of along these lines, the print isn't too 50's or ditsy: www.etsy.com/nz/listing/196784153/vintage-50s-dress-1950s-cotton-dress-jay

I want shoes that don't scream 50s, any ideas?

I have this bag in red, that I'll wear with it, it can be clutch or with strap: www.shopbop.com/crossbody-bag-vince/vp/v=1/1588885538.htm?currencyCode=GBP&extid=SE_froogle_SC_uk&cvosrc=cse.google.VINCE47202&cvo_campaign=SB_Google_GBP&s_kwcid=AL!3510!3!%7Bcreative%7D!%7Bmatchtype%7D!%7Bplacement%7D!%7Bnetwork%7D!!%7Bkeyword%7D&ef_id=V27LYwAABIBOBcCL:20160625182019:s

I have a lot of RubyShoo shoes - they look slightly 50s, but can be worn without looking too retro/vintage

I usually wear plain ballet pumps with 50's style dresses but then I'm not a heel wearer!

With my 50s style skirts I wear either a round toe nude shoe, or a very bright ankle strap, kitten heeled / or slightly higher stiletto heel.
