Can I wear black trainers with black jeggings and not look like a dimwit?

Only if you're doing sports or going to the gym. There's nothing stylish or beautiful about trainers and should never be worn for fashion purposes if you're not of school age. All imo. HTH Smile

I do all the time. For casual 'mumming' eg lark, school run, nipping to shops etc. I have some black nike internationalists and wear with either black or indigo skinnies/jeggings and something like a stripy tshirt or denim shirt on top. I find it looks best if you roll your trousers up a bit so there's an inch or two of ankle to seperate out the blackness. And wear non visible trainer socks.

Park? Although that quite often involves a 'lark' or two.

Haha!!! I have black trainers and ugg boots. Oh and hiking boots.

I'm not fashionable. At all!. My 96yo nan was more fashionable than me.

Im going to be doing a lot of walking today. And ugg boots are not comfortable after the first 10 steps!

Yes, if you're on your way to/from the gym. Or going for a run, but I'm guessing you're not if you have jeggings on.

Only have 2 pairs of trousers that fit me (others are too big and constantly fall down and 1 are too small)

Other trousers that fit are bootcut jeans.

Whole outfit is black (personal reasoning ATM)

I was going to start this thread last week op!
My dc2 is 10 weeks old now and I'm trying to get out walking some serious miles with the pram now. My converse are not comfortable, and I want to buy black Nike trainers to wear with jeans but not sure if I can pull it off.

The consensus so far seems to be no!

If you do a lot of walking, and as long as you feel comfortable, that's absolutely fine! I don't see anything wrong about wearing black jeggings and black trainers.
