Hippies where do you shop?

I'm after a soft flowing hippy vibe with my clothes. Somewhere between full on tie dye/festival clothes and high street. Not worried about & do not follow fashion trends but I'm the wrong side of 40 now & no longer 7 stone so crochet bra tops are not the thing smile

Is there anywhere that does a kind of indie-lite or hippyish stuff online?

There's loads of hippy stuff in the high street at the moment - Zara has a lot of 70s styles that wouldn't look out of place on Janis Joplin. Brown suede, beads, 'folk' embroidery.

I second nomads, Joe Brown's has some nice stuff too. Other than that do you have any hippy shops near you? There are a few where I live and some of the stuff is very tye dye festival type clothing but some of it is really beautiful too, they worth having a nose at

Or you could move to Totnes. Or Stroud grin

They're expensive, and you sometimes get stung by customs, but Sunheart and Zarabesque have some Moroccan cotton hippy-ish clothes, by mail order. They're not covered in mad patterns but have great flowing lines.
Hampstead Bazaar is good for a similar look.

I have a friend who's always dressed like this and looks great but she's given up on Nomads and festival stalls because she says it's very badly fitting. She now prefers Wrap Online and bits from Mint Velvet and Toast - toned down and much pricier but also more forgiving.

Plus as others have said, there's lots of hippy insipired stuff in places like H&M at the moment.

Just remembered she also likes White Stuff tunics but not with leggings - she wears them over floppy, wide leg trousers and long skirts. She also mixes up prints and fabrics a lot.

It's a kind of grown up hippy style. She's tall and kind of imperious looking which helps a lot.
