Bearing in mind that it's quite cool here, cool on the plane and and in the 30's at destination?

Comfy layers.

Stretchy joggies (there are some smart ones around) and a vest/t-shirt/warm layer on top.
Socks - can be weecht off at the destination
Trainers - to allow for walking looooooong airport corridors Hmm
Pair of sandals in hand luggage.

Where are you going?

I wear a dark maxi dress and a cardigan. I pop my flight socks on and take my bra off when the lights go down, cover up with the blanket to keep warm.

My staple long haul uniform is yoga pants, tee shirt, fine knit cardigan/jumper, pashmina ( for snuggling down in especially if night flight), trainers/pumps.

I always wear compression hosiery on long haul flights. If arriving at a hot destination this means that I need to take them off before landing. The tights and the need to take them off determine the rest of my outfit - loose, stretchy, not too warm. A couple of thin layers are best, and one of those layers needs to be cashmere.

Yoga type pants, vest (over bra), tshirt, cardi or hoodie. I wear flip flops but carry thermal socks for the flight.

A light jersey or cotton dress, support tights and a jumper with leather brogues (I have some light ones with holes in them which can be worn with tights in winter but are also quite cool without tights in hotter weather). Remember to put a toothbrush and really refreshing toothpaste in your hand luggage! It makes me feel so much better on long flights.

Cotton dress, cotton t-shirt, cardie and leggings. I'm flying on Sunday, but getting a train the day before, so I have packed a small day bag with my flight clothes already.

I always wear a dress as they are comfortable and Im often heading straight to work on arrival and they can be smartened up

A jersey dress is lovely and comfortable with a nice cardigan and a scarf. Keep some flip flops in your bag and remove cardigan and you'll be sorted

Layers in jersey material for comfort. Depending on your style either a hoody/cardi for warmth that can be removed.

dirty I usually try to avoid a meeting straight from the plane but next week have no choice.

Do you not find the dress wrinkles? where do you put your jacket? And do you re-do make up/hair on landing or in flight?

Sorry to bombard with questionsGrin.

I used to do a lot of long hauls when I was younger. I always wore a maxi dress, vest underneath and cardi on top. I swell up hugely round the waist. Also, shoes off and clean thick socks on as soon as you get on the plane.

Jersey doesn't really wrinkle or if it does, it soon falls back into place. Cotton might wrinkle though. I would avoid linen at all costs. Personally, I wouldn't bring a jacket to a meeting in a hot country unless it's a long trip. I would just make sure the dress and accessories are smart enough to get away with it.

I find Jersey stays wrinkle free & I would replace my cardigan with a jacket which covers things up!
I put on some clean pants, tight & deodorant in the loos and clean teeth plus give myself a quick face wash.

Are you flying business? They usually look after you pretty well and hang up anything you need hung up.

I do make up in the taxi - super double face powder and a bit of lipstick will do fine if pushed for time.
Always make time for a double espresso Wink

Leggings under a jersey t-shirt dress, long cardi/hoodie, slip on shoes, extra socks. And a big scarf to wrap round my face, don't like people seeing me asleep with my mouth hanging open!

I also always have a mini Liz Earle toner spray with me, great to wake yourself up with.

Jeans. I always wear my skinnies when I'm flying, unless I'm going straight to a meeting from the airport or have come straight from a meeting to the airport. Skinnies and a T, plus a cardy or hoody to wrap up in if it gets chilly (which it usually does). I wore my skinnies flying to Nairobi and Sao Paulo last year, both flights approx 12 hours. They are just the most comfy thing to wear. And the most practical thing to be wearing during all the faff in the airport beforehand (and after).

I find if I wear anything with pockets, I end up leaving something metal in them and getting frisked at the airport Blush.

I actually wore dungarees when I flew to oslo this week (only a short flight obviously) because my preferred jeans were in the wash. Big mistake. BIG mistake. HUGE. The metal on the strappy bits set off the thing, and they were up to 90 at T5 on Monday morning anyway (don't know why, possibly because of Orlando, possibly some other thing had raised their threat level but they were definitely more gung ho than usual) - I felt like a complete numpty for wearing something that a few minutes of thought would have told me was going to be an issue. Sigh. They were v comfy to fly in though so...

I'm going on a long haul flight next week and am going to wear this jumpsuit I bought with a cardigan. Normally it would be leggings and a t-shirt but I bought this to wear whilst on holiday and it's so comfy I thought I may as well wear it for the flight and save a bit of precious luggage space.

I always wear what I like to the airport and change into leggings, tshirt, sox and cardi and a pashmina. I also do a facial on a long haul flight. Just before touch down I either change back into what I was wearing (depending on the weather either end) or pack some shorts and wear those. I always take clean knickers as I find changing those redoing makeup cleaning teeth makes me feel refreshed.
