How much would you spend on a pair of sunglasses?

Just that really. I've just impulse-bought a pair online that I think are fab, but they were way more than I have spent before.

Just wondering what others would pay?

I've spent over £100 before. The way and time I drive to work used to mean that I was staring into glaring sun on the way. I was blinded so got a very good pair. I only use them in the car and use cheaper other ones when out and about.

£80. Sunglasses are a theme right now because I lost my £80 pair and bid for some used ones on eBay to replace them. I lost out so bid on two more and, Sod's law, won them both. So £50 each good job DH doesn't check the paypal account. Wouldn't you know it I've kid found the original pair. So have three pairs. Anyone want some Ray-bans?

£40-£50 for prescription ones, about £15 if not.

Mine are prescriotion but I got a voucher for 50% off, so I think they were £35. I'd pay up to £80 for prescription ones.

Non prescription, 25 quid max, from TK Maxx usually. Would love some Raybans, but find I just don't look after them well enough to justify the expense

Max £20 but that's only because I'm always trashing and losing them.

£150 - 200 Gucci or Tiffany are my favourites, although have my eye on some Chanel.
What did you go for OP?

£120 on some prescription RayBans, they should have been over £200 but I fluttered my eyelashes at the manager and got a whacking discount Grin

Also would love love love a Chanel pair. They tend to be over £300. I look longingly at the Chanel cabinet whenever I'm at the opticians.... one day. One day.

Too much. I have a few designer pairs I rotate, but I wear them all weathers. Even in rain to keep hair out my face Blush

80 usually but they're prescription.

£180 is most I have paid. I do love nice sunnies despite seldom wearing them. Still mourning my favourite Pradas that i broke beyond repair. They made the world look better.

My pair were £120 from Ted Baker. I actually need to get some prescription ones as well, so probably a bit frivolous. Mind you if I change my mind I'll return them.

I only have rayban or designer and have a several pairs I rotate. I don't mind spending money on nice accessories but I don't spend much on other stuff like clothes and don't drink or smoke etc

I always bought a cheap pair (10£ or so). And always with the opinion that they would do for the summer, never really like them and invariably would end up buying a new pair every year.

Then, I spent £120 on some ray bans I loved and wear all the time, and haven't even looked at any other sun glasses for the last 3 years - was totally worth it for me.

I have a complicated prescription and wear varifocals. I have just paid £200 for a new pair, and they will be worth it for me.

I would love to be able to spend less on glasses/sunglasses, but I can't.

£150 ish. I love my ray bans. Hate wearing cheap sunglasses now you can tell the difference in lense quality.

I just brought a pair of Oakley and a pair of coach aviators on house of Fraser as they had a good offer on £180 for both pairs. My ray bans are over 5years old so I can justify new ones.

I couldn't care less whether my sunglasses are designer or not. I have a small head and am just grateful to find something that fits.

TBH I wouldn't know if someone was wearing designer anything as it just isn't on my radar.

I love sunglasses and have loads... Most expensive pair I have are one of my Chanels, think they were about £350.. I don't think I'd go much more, they'd need to be absolutely amazing to pay more than that..

I once spent £200 on a beautiful pair of Oliver Peoples on my 30th birthday. Lost them at a festival the next day. Currently have a £120 pair which haves lasted me 5 years so far. I still mourn my 30th birthday present to myself though.

£20 - usually pick them up in Urban Outfitters, Accessorize, Boden (sale), And Other Stories etc...
I'm too careless with them to pay more.

I've just spent £330 on some prescription ones. I did feel a bit of buyers remorse but they are lush

I love sunglasses and have quite a few pairs - chanel and tom ford are my faves. I generally pay around £200 I guess - you can good deals from places like otticanet.

I need new prescription varifocal sunglasses and the lenses alone will be £200ish. Haven't found any yet that I like enough for that kind of money
