Best tights for £6 to £7 a pair

Just bought some summer tights from a well known dept store. The pack specifically said "summer comfort and style". They were £6.90 for one pair.
I went to put them on on Friday morning - total disappointment - no cotton gusset (I know I should have checked) - in fact no gusset panel as such - just a thick seam down the middle and after wearing them, they were as hot as any others. They were also short on me (I'm size 10)
Which is a decent mid price buy for summer tights - mid opaque black with decent length? Don't say M&S - I don't like them (too short).

Falke from tkmaxx, you can find for betwween £3 and £5 and they are £12 + in dept stores, really good quality.

I second falke at tk max. I bought some and they are fab.

I get mine from either eBay or Evans. I've had to problems with either.
