Mascara that doesn't give me panda eyes

I have bought a gazillion different types of waterproof mascara, but within 30 mins of putting them on, my eyelashes are half way down my face.

What brand will actually stay put? Without breaking the bank?

I never used to wear much make up . But as I am getting older, 44, I feel my eyes need a bit more definition.

The only one I've found that stays put is estee lauder double wear. Pricey but worth it

Tubing mascaras are what you need. Guaranteed will not pandify.

Benefit, they're Real. That stuff does not shift even if I sleep or swim in it.

Guerlain Maxi Lash So Volume is great and never gives me panda eyes!

You need a thing mascara. A tubing mascara will not smudge. I read about them on MN and realised that I owned knee, the Estée Lauder double wear zero smudge mascara, which I hadn't yet opened. It is fab.

Tubing, not thing!

Yup, tubing mascara. Boots no. 7 does one if you want to try some without paying high end prices. There's almost always a money-off No. 7 voucher floating about!

Panda here too.......I have just had individual extensions put on, and they're fab. They do look 'done' though

Another vote for Estée Lauder Double Wear. It is a tubing mascara (like the Boots one) so stays on well and comes off super quickly!!

Another vote for boots no7 stay perfect (gold tube) it's a tubing one and does not budge, but comes off easily with warm water when you want - it's really the best of both worlds. I occasionally try others but then remember why I shouldn't.

Agree re tubing - Clinique Lash Power is good

I used to be faithful to Lancôme Définicils and it is very good.

I changed to the Clinique one as I preferred the warm water removal as I am sensitive to make up removers.

What is a tubing mascara?!

What is a tubing mascara?!

I'm not a technical expert but instead of just painting your lashes it forms little tubes around them I think. The little tubes come off with warm water, they look like little spider legs! I'm sure someone will have a better explanation.

Thanks for all the advice. I am not I. The U.K. So can't buy the boots one, but I will look into tubing mascara.

Now, If you can just tell me how to sort out the wrinkles and the greys!

Blinc is the best tubing mascara I've found. If you use the primer underneath, you can build length and thickness with that to your desired effect and then use mascara on top.

Thanks nickdrakeslovechild - I grabbed the Barry M one while I was out as I figured for the price it's worth a gamble!

I use Bobbi Brown Smokey Eye mascara - doesn't shift all day, it's the best mascara I've used.

Definitely tubing mascara. It's amazing. I love Trish McEvoy's Curling Mascara, but will definitely try the Boots no 7 one.
