Occasionally I get weird aberrations of judgment about shoes - which can't be excused just because they are comfortable, which I do need them to be. And I need to be told to forget it!

These have nearly sold out and are described as 'ridiculously pretty' by the makers. But I suspect they are actually frumpy/tacky. Anyone want to tell me they aren't?

It's a no from me sorry. I think they look a bit shit.halo

BeautifulMaudOHara Mon 30-May-16 19:09:36

I quite like them!

lunagrace Mon 30-May-16 19:10:16

I like those they are pretty !

user7755 Mon 30-May-16 19:10:24

I wear all sorts of weird shit - and I wouldn't wear them!

KindDogsTail Mon 30-May-16 19:11:40

I think the are rather nice as long as the context is not too smart.

They seem expensive considering the patent leather will probably get quite scratched, the white sides dirty, and they can't be re-heeled.
But if you love them, they are pretty and look extremely comfortable.

MadisonMontgomery Mon 30-May-16 19:11:50

Um. Are they plastic? Personally I think they're a bit grim, but if you like them go for it! I'm sure I wear stuff all the time that most people would loathe.

witsender Mon 30-May-16 19:11:54

Weird, sorry!

GreyTS Mon 30-May-16 19:12:06

I think without the flowers they could be a smartish, comfy alternative to trainers. Just looked at the other versions and the non embellished canvas and suede ones are really quite nice, so yeah the flowers make them a bit tacky

YaySirNaySir Mon 30-May-16 19:12:56

Yeah they are awful.

anotherbusymum14 Mon 30-May-16 19:13:07

I like them too. I think they are a bit plain actually but would look quite nice on.

Madbengalmum Mon 30-May-16 19:13:11

Yes they are grim.

PinkSquash Mon 30-May-16 19:13:20

They are frumpsville to me

expatinscotland Mon 30-May-16 19:18:20

Incredibly over-priced.

LadyReuleaux Mon 30-May-16 19:18:46

Well I looked and I don't know what I was expecting but they weren't as hideous as I expected... just a bit twee I suppose.

However I don't trust anything that's described as ridiculously/ludicrously/hilariously etc. whatever. <curmudgeon>

On top of that I had never visited the site and it flashed up an introductory offer that said "Your first time should be special"!

eeeeeeewwwwwwwww

Numberoneisgone Mon 30-May-16 19:21:52

I like them in silver but 120, not ever, no way.

Sparkletastic Mon 30-May-16 19:23:23

Minging

DerelictMyBalls Mon 30-May-16 19:25:09

I really don't like them.

ManonLescaut Mon 30-May-16 19:25:19

It's the rubber soles that are weird - like rubber sailing shoes with flowers on.

Doinmummy Mon 30-May-16 19:27:25

£75 shock

sixinabed Mon 30-May-16 19:29:02

I like the ones without the flowers, but these ones could possibly have a bit of alternative cool, Vivian Westwood plastic shoes vibe to them - very much depending on how you dress them.

LadyAntonella Mon 30-May-16 19:29:54

The flowers are horrible I think (sorry). They make them look a bit cheap and frumpy.

KinkyAfro Mon 30-May-16 19:32:38

I've got 4 pairs of the plain ballerinas in different colours, they are super comfy. Not keen on the flowers though

anotherbusymum14 Mon 30-May-16 19:38:37

Oh, I only like them from top down (I do like them if they were just flat). Side on view though, they're funny/weird. Reminds me more of little girls shoes with the thick rubber soles. Sorry.

Gatekeeper Mon 30-May-16 19:47:03

I quite like them but £75 for plastic shoes is ridiculous
