It's gorgeous.

Gigi by Jardin de Scrivenaires.

Like Fracas but richer.

And inspired by literature.

And reduced to £35 from £75!

What's it all about then?

Well, I'm glad you asked Grin

Top notes are orange blossom and neroli; middle notes are tuberose, jasmine and black currant; base notes are sandalwood and white musk.

Just gorgeous.

Where did you get it from?

John Lewis. They had a table of reduced to clear perfumes. I was drawn by the 'Scrivenaires' thing, as I'm a bit of a writer and ponce.

There was one called Wilde, one called George (after George Sand), one called Junky Confused after Augusten Burroughs, and then Gigi.

The shop assistant said 'It's named after a prostitute' which made me laugh, but wow, it smells gorgeous.

It does sound gorgeous though! And I love the literary theme. Might go have a quick look on the JL website! Thanks for the recommendation...

It's Jardin d'Ecrivains. Sorry. My French is appalling.

From a perfume review website:

Wilde by Jardins d’Ecrivains is a Aromatic Fruity fragrance for women and men. Wilde was launched in 2013. The nose behind this fragrance is Anais Biguine. Top notes are bergamot and grapes; middle notes are fig, carnation and tea; base notes are oakmoss and vetiver.

I liked it, but it was too masculine for me. I like sweet scents.

Ooooh, thank you! I tend to really like the androgynous type scents so it may be right up my street! Will have to test these out Smile

Don't do what I did and spray yourself full in the face, though.

Bloody stung but my eyes smell nice now
