My bra makes me look fat.

I'm not fat, well, I don't think I am but I can't wear tee shirts without looking like I have a load of squidgy back fat.

How do you avoid this? Do I need a wider bra back-strap?

I'm a size 10/12 with a 32G bust. I look better without clothes 🙁

Are you me? I have recently put on a stone and it's all gone on a band around my boob and back. I'm half a stone down so it's looking a bit better.

Regarding bras, I have one curvey Kate bra that has a very wide back that doesn't look too bad.

I ordered a few from bra stop and tried on wearing a t shirt until I found one that didn't bulge.

I'm glad it's not just me. It looks awful! Maybe a half stone less would make mine look better too!

I don't carry weight well because of where it goes to. If only I could hide it under a skirt.

is your bra a high street one? For 32G i would sugges you need a thick strap with three hooks

I would go up to a 34 or 36" size so it's not digging in at the back.

Go up a cup size and scoop ecerything from under your arms into the cups. Voila.

You need a tape measure and a bra intervention, but I'd guess a smaller band and a bigger cup.
If you measure round your ribs, where your bra band sits, how many inches is it. 32G here, and I'm a 14-16.

Unfortunately going up in the band doesn't really help as everything from the cups migrates backwards so it can actually look worse - pics on the intervention blog show this!

One solution would be to wear an extra layer under your t shirt e.g. a thin vest to cover any bulges.

Seconding that you may need a smaller band and bigger cup, I only see back squidge around the band if the cups are too small. I'm a 32 band (actually measure 31 around) and probably a dress size larger than you, so a 30 band isn't really that small.

Hmmm. I just re-measured and I'm 31 inches. I must say the bras I have from Bravissimo are a year old and probably stretched.

I thought maybe a wider strap would flatten things but clearly I need less wine in my life!

Thanks for your thoughts, I'll use the furthest hook and have a good scoop.
