Foundation

I need a new foundation. I will mostly only wear it for going out in the evenings and things, I don't wear much makeup. Sometimes in the daytimes I wear my BB cream from The Body Shop. I have acne...probably described as moderate acne. I am probably going to go on the pill soon to try and sort this out (worked last time).

I have always used powder foundation. I used to have a great one from Clinique, but I don't really want to buy from them anymore as they're not a cruelty-free brand. I have tried Lily Lolo and didn't get on with it at all. I have also tried powder foundation at The Body Shop and the coverage was too light for my problem skin. I am not used to wearing a heavier coverage or liquid foundation but given my awful skin at the moment maybe they are what I need.

Any suggestions??

How about the Laura Geller Balance & Brightne foundation? It's a builds me powder. You can order from QVC and if you don't like it then there is a 30 day money back guarantee so you can just return it. You'd only be out the postage cost.

I have just bought a new foundation and changed brands for the same reason OP - I wanted one that doesn't test on animals. Went for Laura Mercier's candleglow and so far am impressed with it. It's quite light but builds up nicely, has nice glow rather than shine. I know you said you don't use liquid but this one may be worth trying.
