Dress Advice needed

I need some help regarding dresses. I've put on quite a bit of weight after having DD now 8 months, so have big tummy and hips, bigger arms than I'd like, still no cleavage thoughSad.

Anyway I've been given some New look and Dorothy Perkins vouchers for my birthday and want to buy a dress or two for summer. I like wearing dresses but just want to get something right for my current shape. Any suggestions please Smile.

What shape are you now? Is your tummy the widest part of you? Your hips? Are your top and bottom pretty much even but you have a waist? Are you about the same measurements all over? Are you tall or short? Sorry for all the questions just trying to get an idea of your shape so I can hopefully give you some pointers!

Hi, thanks for replying. I'm about 5.5 and pear shaped. Waist isn't too bad, main problem is my tummy that is round and saggy. Just looking for something that hides my tummy a bitSmile.

I'm about a 38 A bra size so can't wear anything low cut.

What about a skater dress? I've got a couple of nice Dorothy Perkins ones with t-shirt length sleeves.

Skater dress is a good call, tucked in but floaty blouse and well fitting jeans, a well fitted shift dress would flatter too (I'm short but also pear shaped so just going off what suits me here). Things that are slimming onnthe bottom half and show off your waist are good paired with something with a little more volume on top to balance you out is the general rule for pear shapes
