Advice for daughters prom suit

DD is gay, pretty much lives in a t shirt and jeans and says she would like to wear a man's suit and tie to her prom. That is fine but I don't want her to look ridiculous in an ill-fitting outfit. Any suggestions where to look for a plain smartish trouser suit - she is a size 10, about 5'6'' tall. We have ordered a white Tuxedo from ASOS that we could get adjusted, with a plain pair of trousers. I was hoping to find something like this she could try:

Absolutely not what you were asking for, but Mango have a gorgeous teal-ish velvet suit that might be worth her while looking at.

Will have a look for what you were actually asking for

Could have chosen a better photo to attach really, looks like a curvy, fitted job there (I now notice) but it's actually a straight cut.

Is this more the sort of thing she was after?
this (they have trews with it too) is maybe interesting

Pity to waste the dressing up opportunity. I've been reviewing my vintage clothing and have handed DS a red and black brocade tux I bought in 1984 when I styled a band in NY. He loved it, but it's a little too big ATM! Don't see why your DD should feel constrained; what about the flamboyant side of gay pride? Persuade her that her peacock instinct needs full expression!

In what way is wearing a fab suit wasting a dressing up opportunity? Hmm The lass should wear what the hell she like IMHO.

That said, this is not a suit but, erm, yeah, maybe worth a look? It's certainly a Marmite suit but if she likes it then she'll love it

Only that she will have years to wear fab plain suits, depending on future occupation, but the chance to be Lord Flauntleroy comes less often!
