So, obviously for it to be in my bag 11 yearslater means it's rarely worn.

This is what I use, what versions (budget not blowout prices please!) Can you recommend?

Bb cream (not foundation... I find it too heavy and mask like)
Brown or brown \black eyeliner pencil
BASE \ Ivory eyeshadow
Other brown \ nude shadows
Lipgloss things
Blusher?
Eyebrow shading?

Thanks!

I use the Garnier BB cream and really rate it. They do versions for oily, dry and normal skin now I think. I do have to use a powder over the top or find it a bit too glowy.

I don't like lipstick so use the Clinique chubby sticks for lip colour. Hydrating and good colour coverage and they may seem slightly expensive but they last ages.

Blush - I bought an "emergency" Revlon blusher and I'm actually pretty impressed with it.

For eye shadows - there's a brown/ nude palette which is a cheaper version of the Urban Decay Naked, sure someone will name it for you.

Happy shopping (and if you need a mascara you can't beat Max Factor Masterpiece Max imho)

The Charlotte Tilbury stuff is amazing! I'm completely won over by everything I've tried. It's not cheap but it's very good quality for the price if that makes sense.

I'm also quite into the Jane Iredale Just Kissed lip stain (it's like a gloss/balm but accentuates the colour in your lips).

How about a make up session. It could be with a relatively inexpensive brand such as No7 or one of the bigger brands like Mac. Tell them what sort of look you want. I usually stop by mid week either late morning or after lunch when it's quiet and express an in interest in buying a lipstick or something and then ask for advice.

I was fingering (ooh errr) the testers of the cheapie Collection eyeshadow palettes this morning and was sorely tempted. There's one called Nudes, one called Bronzed Nudes, one called Grey Nudes and on called Rose Nudes. I liked the first one the best. They're quite small and I think they have 6 shades? A couple of light ivory ones included so that could be very handy for you.

The collection eye palettes are great budget buys.

Though pricey, the Naked palettes by Urban Decay are worth splashing out on I think - they do Basics ones for around £22 quid. I go budget in everything else but these, and I think the extra pays off in pigment and longevity.

Stilla cream blushes are ace, can't go wrong with them and they last ages!
