ok I have bought a dress very similar in style to this one to the knee, sleeveless, v cut for a wedding. My Dilemma is I haven't a clue what:

What colour shoes, bag, headpiece and something for over the shoulders incase it's cold to wear.

Shop assistant said black or cream but black boring cream yuk!

Any ideas????

It' s a beautifu colour. I'm no fashionista I'd go for Cobalt blue, hot pink or coral x

It's a jewel tone (by the looks of it) so go with other jewel tones, pinks, purples, blues in brighter hues, brown if you want to go safer and are dark haired. This bag might work depending on size (it's a bit large if you're small of frame), or this one could work too and you can pick up a colour from it for other accessories, and this could possibly work too, unfortunately isn't photographed that well as it is slightly metallic.

Navy always looks good against jade, but I'd be inclined to look for texture/pattern/sparkle too.

I definitely wouldn't wear black, too much of a contrast which I find cheap looking.

I know you said yuk to cream but ivory white would be good. I got a lovely ivory pashmina in Primark recently which was surprisingly luxurious. For £5 instead of about £20 in M&S and the quality was identical.

I can also recommend this fascinator which I bought for a wedding recently. IMHO it's a little bit more elegant than your usual clump-of-feathers-stuck-to-the-side-of-your-head option...

I'd go with metallic - silver, gold or bronze would all look lovely.

I struggle with colours! I find Pinterest a very helpful hub of information!

I have seen these three pins and saved them for future reference! They may help you xx

Bright pink! or a different darker shade of blue green. You could even go gold! I too think black would look cheap with this colour xx

I would go with gold accessories, no hat.

Metallics, pale green, pink. Definitely not cobalt. Shock

Nooo to those blue sandals! Yikes indeed with the jade dress. I agree with those saying metallics.

You can put colour with it, strong colour even if that's your thing. Maybe not those though. Without a clear idea of how the actual dress looks in terms of cut and colour it's very hard to say much.

this
with these shoes, pale cream bag should work

this for example would work with jade and the same bag and shoes as above or this with the shoes and silver version of the bag, if you want to go multi colour.

I'd go metallics with that/ gold. So I'd wear gold sandal shoes and a small gold clutch. For over the shoulders you are probably looking at a cream pashmina and yes that is a bit boring but there isn't really another colour that could work with it and if it's a long dress you can't really go down the cost/ jacket road.

Go bold with your accessory colour. I am on board with the cobalt or the pink, or navy/gold if you are a bit worried. Not black or cream, yawn.
