If you are apple shaped, with mum tum, is it possible to buy well flattering trousers?

I really struggle with trousers. If I get them big enough to be comfortable around my stomach, and not to ride up and give awful camel toe (sorry, I know that's not a pretty thought), then they are big and flappy and far too wide on the thighs.

Is is possible to buy flattering, stylish, comfortable trousers if you are apple shaped, or is it just impossible?

The title should read 'well fitting' not well flattering Blush

The holy grail of work trousers! All I can find is pull on bootcuts which look ok shapewise and fit comfortably but only come in polyester type fabrics, anything in a nice material doesn't fit :(

Yes, exactly! I always wear dresses to work but a pair of smart trousers would be lovely for a change. I had a pair about fifteen years ago (!) that were flat fronted and tapered and they worked really well and they are just about the only flattering pair of trousers I've ever found.
