Hello everyone! I live an hours train ride from London and wondered if anyone has been to sample sales in the Music Room. I saw a listing of their May sales on a blog here and want to know if it's worth making the trip?

I went to the Issa one. I am size 10-12 and things were too small for me, but I still managed to find quite a few things. Then I went to the Reiss one and it was not worth it.

My friend is size 6 and bought LOTS at Issa

Thank you for letting me know. I've heard mixed things about the Reiss event. The main thing I want to know if whether it's worth it for "normal sized" girls as I'm a 14! xx

Depends on the brand. Some sample sales are essentially moving their outlet at bicester to the city. I am looking at you Mulberry.

But then others have been fab their like Kate Spade.

Some have mixture of dead end of season stock, old sale stock, and ourlet store stock.

But the ones who have old excess stock from displays press days etc. Will be size 7 shoes size 10/12 clothing as that is standerd sample size. Being a size 6 and size 3 feet. Sample sales like this no good for me. But ones with old stock I do well at as least popular sizes.

Music rooms though as I said only been to those two brands there. Room is expensive to hire so bare in mind prices wont be dirt cheap as they will want to cover rent. Also they are very well advertised so very very busy.

Some of the best sample sales I have been to tend to be in H/O and warehouses direct at brand.

Keep eye out in standard, time out and stylist always samples advertised. Grin
