Shoe advice please?!

So I have bought this dress for an upcoming family wedding:

www.selfridges.com/GB/en/cat/maje-reason-embroidered-dress_670-10082-E16REASON/?previewAttribute=Black

And I am a little stuck on shoes/sandals.

Thinking perhaps these:

But unsure....

Any opinions please?

Love both shoes!!!
Pair 2 for me not to distract from lace in skirt.
Which is comfortable? ?

I think that you are right AnnieGrin

Thanks for replying.

The LK Bennett pair are definitely more comfortable. They are also very 'lady like'. I know I will wear them a lot in the future.

Pretty dress, but im afraid i dont like black for a wedding, unless there is a theme?

Yes, I agonised a bit about the colour. Blush

I tried approximately a thousand dresses on and this is the only one which made me feel wow.

My SIL (the bride) told me not to be silly and go for it!

Ooh, lovely.

Another vote for the second shoes here.

What are you doing for bag, jewelry and do you get to wear a hat? Is going to look amazing in any case Envy

Love the dress (and I think the black is the best of the three colours too). Just gorgeous.

Much prefer the LK Bennett shoes to the others, not keen on the inside cut out bit of those first shoes.

Thank you Mrs LettuceSmile

I really love the dress.

Have been wondering about a hat - I have a mop of curly hair. It's in a good graduated bob type style. Pretty clueless about hats to be truthful! Any suggestion gratefully received.

I have a gorgeous string of pearls which DH bought me last Christmas. They are just the right length. Though they might be a bit of a cliche ?!

Thanks Salmon - yes I'm pretty much sold on those shoes. I think!

The black in real life is really rich. Green is not my colour and the pink made me look very washed out.

I really like the ones you've posted, but as it's a spring wedding, how about this

I have this LK Bennett clutch from seasons past. Could I use it?

Thanks TheTravellingLemon. I love the second pair. It wouldn't have occurred to me to accessorise with red. It could really work thoughSmile

Gorgeous dress and you can't go wrong with LK Bennett shoes!

I did almost suggest a colour with it too, was thinking more like this and this (or this) or the blue version though, with black shoes and bag. There's no need for colour though if SIL is happy.

(absolutely love this but I think it has a green tint so probably not your colour)

But, your pearls and bag would be utterly lovely.

Do you actually want / have to have a hat?

Love the Jewellery MrsLettuce. Especially the v vivid blue. Very tempting...WinkFlowers

I have never worn a hat or a fascinator. I love them on other people. Not sure about me though, and it's not necessary.

Thanks everyone - lots to think about. Flowers
