What is this on my face?!?!

Over the past 4-5 months I've noticed this black mark just under my cheekbone only on the left hand side of my face. I'm only 24 and take very good care of my skin....what is it???? i'm so confused?? I can't seem to get rid of it either!

Some days it doesn't seem noticeable and then others, especially in the morning it makes me look like I've got bronzer on only one side of my face!!

Caused by sunlight and hormones. Usually associated with pregnancy.

My dh has it on his nose and its a tiny patch of darkness that comes out worse in the sun, Obviously for him not pregnancy related!!!
