A perfume that smells of summer

Anyone recommend a really nice summer perfume.
Thinking cucumber, sea salt, sun cream, fresh outdoor dried sheets.
All the things that smell lovely and fresh without being too sweet or cloying.
Any ideas?

Claris eau ressourçante is very fresh and clean.
Eau de Givenchy smells of drying sheets.

And if you layer Jo Malone's Earl Grey and Cucumber with her Sea Salt and Wood Sage the smell is perfect and costs £100

Bit old school but I still love Elizabeth Arden Sunflowers. Its so light fresh and floral and always reminds me of summer.
I love cucumber scents too - one of the m&s own ones was like that, can't remember what it was called but I think it had a butterfly on the packaging.pink and green I think.

Library of Fragrance Salt Air is amazing. Also I really love JLo Deseo- and it's a bargain at under ten quid. For fresh laundry try Moschino Fresh Couture.

I used to have one which had a real zingy almost grapefruit highlight called dior addict 2. I've looked for it and it was discontinued. sad nearest I've found is a newer dior addict fraiche. Its lovely but its not in budget for an everyday spritzer sadly! Anyone know of a cheaper option to try?

Artisan Perfumer L'Ete en Douce which is all hay and soft flowers.
or the Different Company Sel de Vetivert - more expensive though, it's fresh and salty.

Oooh Oooh following. I would love to find one I like. I live somewhere hot so always have the brief "not too sweet or cloying" but also needs to be quite mainstream because of limited shopping opportunities.

Lol at sunflowers, I could go there and pretend I was 14 again, my grandmother bought me that and it seemed so sophisticated after all the bodyshop dewberry!

Jo Malone perfumes are just so lovely smile

I used to have an amazing one that smelled like grass. No idea what it was!

I was about to say Jo Malone Wood Sage and Sea Salt layered with Earl Grey and Cucumber too. English Pear and Freesia is also lovely.

DNKY is very light and grapefruit-y.

Marc Jacobs Daisy Dream smells like Summer to me.

lots haha that made me chuckle! spot on! I too went from dewberry and white musk to sunflowers - circa1994! (About 14!) Still love that light scent though.

JLo Glow and Elizabeth Arden Green Tea for me.

For a proper beachy holiday type scent, it has to be Bronze Goddess by Estee Lauder. It smells of coconuts (amongst other smells) but is a perfume version of sun cream grin

Iliveinalighthousewiththeghost Fri 15-Apr-16 22:32:05

Sun flowers.

Another vote for Estee Lauder's Bronze Goddess.
Summer in a bottle. Beautiful.

Clinique eau des jardins (the green one). Lahvly.

Red roses by Jo Malone. I need to check out her new shop, Jo Loves, but the prices frighten me.

Guerlain Acqua Allegoria Bouquet no 2.

Yet another vote for Estee lauder bronze goddess, smells absolutely like summer to me, I couldn't be without it.

Marc Jacobs Cucumber. Not a euphemism!!!

I love Bronze Goddess, but 4160 Tuesday's What I did on my Holidays is a close second and actually sounds exactly as you describe.
