What do you do with your eyebrows?

I know the look at the moment is very much statement eyebrows but I don't give a shit about that. What I give a shit about, is if my eyebrows compliment my face or not. Also, I don't particularly like that over dramatic eyebrow look that I'm seeing a lot of. Even threaded eyebrows can look a bit OTT to me.

Sometimes I fill my eyebrows in with an eyebrow pencil, sometimes I don't and I really can't decide which looks better. I think it can depend on other things for example, how much make up I'm wearing.

What do you do with your eyebrows and is your face generally better off for it?

Pretty much the same as you. Some days I'll fill them with pencil, other days I like a more natural look. I can't stand the huge HD brows that jump off the face.

I have my waxed and tinted. I wear powder on them too sometimes to define the arch.
Mine don't look ott they look natural. I have a light brown tint as I'm fair skinned with light hair and the wax shapes then but not too thin, just tidy.

I pluck mine myself, fill in any sparse bits with a pencil then use benefit gimme brow.

I use Benefit Gimme Brow gel every day. But I have very fair brows and I need definition.

I tint mine as they are very fair. I don't really tweeze them except for the odd stray hair. When I wear make up I use Maybelline Brow Drama (like Gimme Brow but much cheaper) to give them a bit of definition and shape.

I have HD brows. They make me look really polished - me but better. I absolutely love them. I can wear less make up when my brows are looking good and still look like I care about my appearance.

When they're getting a bit straggly (which they are now) I feel like I want to hide a bit more - there's nothing wrong with them, just a bit messy.

I get mine waxed and tinted buy don't do much to them unless I'm going out somewhere special (rare!)

I use gel on them to give them a bit more definition and to keep them in place. They don't need shaping - they are naturally a great shape. DD has inherited my naturally fab eyebrows!

I do nothing, on the assumption that what is naturally there is best suited to my face. I may be wrong but suppose no one would be rude enough to tell me that so I'll remain in my bushy browed ignorant bliss.

I have HD brows and they are just elegant. Not big massive dramatic brows

I used to pluck mine to oblivion for many years and started growing them again in my late 30s. I have a lot of white hairs there now and one is still a bit patchy so I get them waxed and tinted so they look a bit more even and normal

Mine are a good shape but need the stragglers waxed every now and again. I'm ginger so don't colour them. I'm interested in these gels/products must have a look

I've inherited my Dad's straggly eyebrows, I comb them upwards and trim with scissors, and when I've got time/ money I get them plucked by someone who knows what they're doing/ has better eyesight/ steadier hand than me!
I find that waxing and threading don't give me the shape I want. I'm naturally ginger, I use a very thin eyeliner pen in black to give definition, when I'm wearing make up to go out, but nothing for daytime as the black is too harsh, and brown just looks wrong on me.
I did have a bluey black henna dye once and I really liked that.

I use a wee bit of eyebrow pencil for a tiny bit of definition, as mine are sparse and fair, but that's it.

I get them threaded. I'm a recent convert. I used to wax and pluck and generally make a mess of them myself. I have never used an eyebrow pencil and I wouldn't know what to do with one.

I get mine threaded every two or three weeks and use Benefit Browzings to fill them in. I am very dark and my eyebrows grow at an astonishing rate, so they need kept in check.

I get mine threaded every three weeks. The last that does mine said waxing makes your eyelids saggy over time so I'm glad I switched. I fill them in with an eyebrow pencil sometimes.

I have them threaded about once every 6 weeks. I'm bottle blonde and they are a teeny bit darker so I just leave them alone other than that

I agree that gel is really good - it enables you to keep your brows in place and makes them look a bit more polished without that caterpillar look!

When I'm doing heavier makeup for going out I may fill them in with a soft brow definer (though I find pencils too harsh) but for day to day I find it a bit much.

By the way, I think Anastasia is a really good brand for eyebrow makeup. Lasts ages too!

Is eyebrow gel clear?

My friend introduced me to nyx brow gel available at boots its amazing will last ages and just over a 5a. It apparently is on a par with anastacia dip brow altho ive never tried that.

I love the definiton and clean lines of hd brows unfortunately cant afford them very often

I usually pluck out the stragglers and hope my fringe hides the rest
Grin

Report
trilbydoll · 12/04/2016 21:38

I get them threaded weekly. They're not fashionable thick brows, they're just a defined shape. About half their natural width, because naturally they're massive!

I go to the cheap ladies in the shopping centre, every so often they stop paying attention and I end up lopsided Grin then I have to grow them out for a few weeks.
