Can anybody recommend one?

for the skin? None. Total waste of time and money.
for the eyes? go see a doctor. You don't get spares.

Place marking I need one too

I use a tiny dab or either almond or wheatgerm oil.

What do you want this eye cream to do?

Your eyes are telling you to leave them alone. Listen to them. There is no such thing as a magic eye cream.

I'm not askin for a magic eye cream my eyes are naturally sensitive and watery so want something to soothe them!
No more unhelpful replies please just don't waste your time or energy

I feel you Jo when you have sensitive skin an eye cream is often warranted as normal moisturisers (which are hard enough to find as it is) irritate the eyes. On that note avoid the Multivitamin one from Dermologica. Thought it was a 'safe' brand but it made me tear up constantly. I like the Echium & Argan Soothing Eye Cream from Pai Skincare, their entire range is great for sensitive skins, they exclude a lot of irritants. The eye cream is a tad rich for me so I use it sparingly but I'm normal not dry skinned. They even do a 30 day guarantee with your money back if a product doesn't work for you.

*Multivitamin eye cream that is.

Hi botemp, it's weird isn't it because I didn't get on with the pai samples I tried! Sometimes the natural ranges irritate me most! I like dermalogica though ha ha see what I mean!

I've a similar problem with my eyes. They water all the time, which irritates the skin round about and makes it sore. I find putting lansinoh or vaseline on the skin round my eyes before bed helps to protect the skin. It does make it very shiny though and isn't a good daytime look! For daytime I use a basic eye cream. I've found the Boots protect and perfect one is OK, as are the Clinique ones. Eucerin also make a good one but I can't remember the name off hand.

The cheap as chips nivea moisturising cream in the blue tub is also good on my eyes and doesn't irritate the skin. It isn't an eye cream but does the job.

I find most synthetics are my triggers so that would make sense, Clinique and I don't get along either. I hate the term 'sensitive skin' since it's more of a unique condition but it's always marketed as a one size fits all deal. I've always had it so I just don't get how people can become it unless they aggravated the hell out of it or something...

Anyhow, I did try a sample of the Dermologica UltraSmoothing Eye Serum once and though that sort of left me 'meh' as to what it was supposed to do/doing, it was very soothing and non-irritating.

Nivea is a definite no no for me my skin hates it, I can't use anything fragranced sad

Vaseline might be worth a shot though thank you.

I can't use the ultracalming eye serum it stung my eyes bad! But the multivitamin one was ok lol just expensive.

Indecisivejo Mon 11-Apr-16 18:19:07

Oh and my skin hates anything Clinique!

Floisme Mon 11-Apr-16 18:21:29

I've seen your posts before and I remember now that almond oil doesn't work for you. Sorry you're having such a hard time.

Indecisivejo Mon 11-Apr-16 18:23:41

Sorry floisme I didn't mean to not comment on your reply I'm not quite sure how I forgot it! I appreciate any suggestions X

botemp Mon 11-Apr-16 18:24:22

LOL, we're like opposite sensies. So just take my suggestion as things not to bother with grin. Case in point I'd break out in sweaty hives with anything mineral oil based/related and be grabbing for jojoba oil instead.

MrsT2007 Mon 11-Apr-16 18:43:12

I'd just gently pat some aloe gel on and maybe some aveeno

Indecisivejo Mon 11-Apr-16 18:52:17

Ha ha botemp we should tell eachother stuff we love so the other one knows to avoid it grin we do both hate clinique tho!

Indecisivejo Mon 11-Apr-16 18:53:15

Oh and I don't like mineral oil in face creams but on lips and body I love it grin

I've used Simple Eye Cream for irritated skin around my eyes and it really helped.
