I would like eyebrows

Mine are wishy washy and a bit patchy. I wouldn't want a pair of those scary giant black things though so I'm not sure what I'd ask for?

I'm the world's greatest coward when it comes to these things but i love, love, love the brows i got from www.karenbetts.co.uk/index.php She has a real gift about getting the right brows for each face.

After a quick chat, she marks the intended shape on your actual brows with a wax crayon thing, so you can see the actual shape. You get the chance to wipe some away, add more elsewhere. Only when you are happy do they do the actual work. Brilliant.

Oh that type of 'treatment' looks perfect finally
Unfortunately, and I should have said, I'm closer to Glasgow
But thanks

Might be worth getting in touch with them, behooven, Karen trains people who then work from their own salons , as it says 'all over the country' which might well cover you part of the world. All the best

Yes I have and it works really well. But you have to keep using as once you stop it goes all back to how it was - eventually.

I read in another thread that rapid brow is nothin but caster oil so you are better off just buying that plus mascara wand from eBay/Amazon. I am thinking of doing that.

Wendy Smith who owns Permanently Perfect does might even. She only works from Bridge of Allan once or twice a year. She uses individual brush strokes. Everyone is surprised when I tell them my eyebrows are tattoos. Can't recommend enough.

Price for tattoo roughly 350 for first course then top ups every 18 months about 150. I had no browse at all through illl health.

If in central scotland have a look at On Point permanent cosmetics on facebook.

She does absolutely amazing hair-stroke brows and the shapes she creates are beautiful. I had mines done in January and I love them!

Mrsmaud i thought the cost was on the website, I remember a price list somewhere which started about £500-ish upwards, depending on who did your brows and where you saw them. I had Karen herself at Harley Street so was maybe £200-ish more. Sorry to be so vague but i just didn't look at the total. I paid by card when i made the appointment, something like an initial £200 for the consultation, but then i went ahead right away and had them done there and then. It maybe best to phone them (there is definitely a number on the web site) for accurate costs.

I know they are good because my mother, who is much more into makeup than I am, took one look at them and said right, I'll have those done too. I don't spend much on makeup usually, honestly....

My brows were getting thinnish, getting them dyed didn't help as there weren't enough hairs to hold the dye, especially on the 'down' part of the brow. Now, they are always perfect... bliss.

Oh, and i thonestly, really didn't hurt. They smoothed on anaesthetic, which felt a bit like vaseline, then for the actual procedure i heard a buzzing and the touch felt as if she was holding an electric toothbrush to my brows.

This may be a stupid question, but with the tattoos, you'd still have to keep on getting your own brows threaded, wouldn't you?

Can someone who's had it done post a pic of your brow please?

Well, I had mine done because mine own brows were very thin and sparse, so there wasn't really any question of needing to have them plucked or threaded. If you have enough brows to need threading, I'd struggle a bit to see what you would be getting from the tattoo?

Since my brows were always very thin, i hesitated over getting a tattoo, as heavy, lush brooke shields brows would look , well, silly and out of place against my colouring. I was delighted with the end result, as it means that i have some definition around the brow area.p, much more than before. Others with whom i shared the waiting room, had lost all their hair, head and brows entirely.

There are lots of examples on the site www.karenbetts.co.uk, as part of the deal is that she takes a snap of the end result. Not enough to identify the person, just the eyes and brows. That would give you some idea of the range of possible outcomes. I took lots of pictures of my end results, but am loath to post a full face picture of myself on an anonymous forum. HTH

My brows are blonde and very sparse, but I get hair on my fucking eyelids (thanks, menopause!) and loads above my brows.

There's a few good offers on 5pm.com just now. This is for semi permanent eyebrows, but just don't know if I'm brave enough...
