Help me find a nice jacket for a 19 yr old guy please

DS2 to be precise. He's a 6 ft lanky lad who needs a lighter weight coat/jacket and I have no idea what is 'in'. He has special needs and has no interest in choosing clothes himself, but generally is in chinos and a t shirt (which he chews..grr) It needs some sort of internal pocket or zipped pocket for his bus pass.

I try to make sure he looks as 'cool' as possible. Should I be looking in Superdry? Jack Wills? or any other ideas?

My ds nearly 18 got a really nice one from the Levi shop last week. Not denim, black lightly padded cotton.
