Kerastase.... opinions needed please!

I got my hair cut tonight and I bloody hate it! Luckily, I think the cut is ok but the way she curled it was just AWFUL. I look like a emo Harry Styles. However, I was very tired and not thinking straight when I went there and foolishly agreed to buy a product called Kerastase Resistance, which is a kind of treatment, I think. Stupidly, I assumed this would add an extra 7 or 8 quid onto my bill.

No.

16 fucking pounds. I want to cry. My fault entirely but I am not happy.

As of yet, the foil seal is still over the spout. Should I attempt to flog it on FB for a tenner or will it do any good to my damaged, coloured hair?

Any opinions welcome!

Kerarstase leaves my hair full of static but some of my friends rave about it.

I'd try returning it to the salon.

Defo return to salon if seal still on! Tell them when u got home u looked at ingredients on the bottle and there's something in there ur allergic to (pick one before u go so it's in ur mind incase they ask) they won't argue it.

I'm a kerestase raver, but if you don't like or want it take it back.

I know exactly how you feel! I did the same the other week at my hairdressers - agreed to buy some Aveda shampoo and conditioner thinking it would add perhaps an extra £20 or so to my bill. It was £47!! By then it was through the till and paid for. I was so cross with myself - and them! The following week, after days of berating myself for what a mug I'd been, I just took it back and asked for a refund. Fortunately they gave me one without any fuss. NEVER AGAIN will I even think about buying salon products - what a rip off! All goes down the drain anyway...

I like the one Kerastase product I use.
I'm sure it'll make it look better but if your hair is damaged it'll just mask that, won't actively do it any good IYSWIM.

slight bit of an OTT reaction tho OP! :) just wash the curl out?

I love kerestase and use nothing else, but not the resistance range. The chroma range for coloured hair is excellent as is the nutritive range, but the resistance range left my hair a dry matted mess. Take it back if you can and choose something else.

Please take it back. I took some products back to my salon and they changed them and refunded the difference on the spot.

Kerastase is brilliant, I love their shampoo and conditioner.

I LOVE kerastase products. Really great quality products and yes a little pricey but no more than a bottle of wine in the pub and the bottle lasts me far longer!

I stupidly bought a Kerastase serum type thing from my salon and wasn't impressed. I had asked for a leave in conditioner as my hair was out of condition and this is what the stylist recommended. It wasn't any better than any other serum I've used tbh. I ran out and certainly haven't missed it at all, so that tells me all I need to know really. I can't comment on their shampoo and conditioner or any of the other products as I haven't used them.

Thanks for the range of opinions.
In a fit of "I work hard, why shouldn't I have nice things" opened the bottle and have used it for the last 2 days. I'm undecided. Not bowled over yet - it smells a bit... Avon. And no massive change to the condition of my hair. Sigh! I'll keep going. Good point though okiecokie it's worth considering what else you'd spend £16 on.

You could sell it, there is a market for it on ebay.
