Come and chat about fashion, make up and anything glittery and frivolous. We'll take your bad hair day seriously and you never have to apologise for a new bag Grin

And if you happen to know where I can find comfortable but stylish trainers in kakhi or dark brown you are particularly welcome (Blatant abuse of thread setting up privileges) Wink

Thanks for new thread Lib.

Shop yes, wear your best colour tomorrow, you'll look great. Holding your hand.

Mara that's what's putting me off too, I need to think more about trainers. They are lovely though aren't they! Enjoy your weekend away with DH :)

Lib that's very sensible about the R&B ones, what a shame though as they sound almost perfect.

Amber and QueenC hope you're having fun nights out.

That sounds intriguing One, and exciting, good for you!

Thanks for the shiny new thread Lib

I agree with Blair, Dry, black shoes probably.

I haven't had my return from Me + EM yet, still not sure what I'm wearing for wedding on Friday. I'm planning a trip to the shops on Wednesday just in case.

Good luck today Shop. Go for something you feel comfy in - blacks, greys, reds?

In other news, I have a hair cut booked for next week. I'm thinking of going for a messy bob (Mob?). Opinions those who have met me?

Lib thanks for the new thread Thanks. Will keep an eye out for trainers - do you like any brands in particular?

MarshaBrady · 19/03/2016 07:56

Stokey I think it would really suit you. How long is your hair now?

Thank you for the new thread Lib.

I think a 'mob' would really suit you Stokey - go for it!

Lovely dress Dry, I also think black shoes.

Sounds exciting One. Will you be able to continue your uni course?

I hope today goes well shop.

It is a dull day here and, apart from an eye test, I won't be venturing out. Ootd is still undecided (having a cup of tea in bed). I am looking forward to a chance to go shopping in the Easter holidays, as I feel uninspired by my current wardrobe. I don't know what I want so think I need to visit actual shops. It doesn't help that I am at the top end of what my weight fluctuates to, and I can't seem to motivate myself to do anything about it! My own fault, I know.

Anyway, enough with the moaning, have a lovely day everyone.

lib thanks for the thread.

Technical isabel marant shoe question Grin I've always wanted a pair of stan smiths but the 3 are too big. I've fallen in love with the IM Bart trainers, does anyone know if they are big or true to size, they look wide so I'm thinking of getting a 2, maybe I should just order both :/ thoughts...?

Report
Karcheer · 19/03/2016 10:58

I've ordered both Wink

hi karcheer i tried on some in Bicester yesterday! They are so comfortable but I found them a little small to size. My big toe was pinching in my usual size. They were really lovely and didn't make my feet look huge and wide like the stan smiths . Which colour did you get?

Report
Karcheer · 19/03/2016 13:08

justa Oooooo maybe I should pop to Bicester. Where they in Russell and Bromley?

Report
Karcheer · 19/03/2016 13:09

These beige ones.

No In Kurt Geiger karcheer . I tried these on
www.selfridges.com/GB/en/cat/isabel-marant-bart-leopard-print-pony-trainers_641-10004-5417743589/ they also had black ones but no white although the lady said she was expecting a delivery yesterday they were £149 and the black ones £129, so quite a big saving on fp.
I really like this colour but all sold out now www.net-a-porter.com/gb/en/product/588113/isabel_marant/etoile-bart-leopard-print-calf-hair-sneakers

I bought some mid way through last summer. I love them, the shape is great.

The size was the normal one for me. Really like the new colours.

Report
Karcheer · 19/03/2016 14:25

A heads up for Lib those suedette skirts are back in primark with even more autumn suitable colours. saw them today when i was picking up something for my sister. most of them look a-line to me and there are some with a pretty 90's vibe to them with the full zips ont hem. they did look nice, just the wrong colours for me personally
