Help dd11 is a 26/26DD where can I find suitable bras

My dd bra was clearly to small so she let me measure her . She measures 25inch back and 39inch around her boobs. This is showing as a 24/26DD . Does this sound right and if so where can I buy suitable bras preferably sports bras. I can only find very expensive sexy plunge bras! My dd is still in primary school.

Freya Active is my sports bra and I'm a similar size. Plain and boring but functional.

Thank you, I have heard if bravissimo but was t sure if they sold suitable bras for children.
Will look that brand up Spiders thank you. Could I ask a personal question please don't answer if you don't want to. Do you look quite big? Because dd doesn't look like what I imagined a DD or even a D would look like if that makes sense.

Honest to betsy, the best thing you can do with your daughter is to take her to be fitted somewhere decent. (For the love of god NOT marks and Spencer's) Get her into the habit now, as a busty young lady she will thank you for it as soon as she stops hating you.

Call the shop ahead and tell them of your measurements so that they can be prepared when you come or recommend somewhere you can shop. I found as a young girl that I felt more comfortable being fitted by "older ladies" (anyone older than my mum!) but you can say she's nervous, chat with the shop before you go so she's not mortified when you say things like "no plunge" on the shop.

I recommend bravissimo. But call ahead.

28 D
30 C

34 A
36 AA

Thank you Space, that useful advise. We have a Bravissimo locally so I will call and make her an appointment. And possibly increase my overdraft at the same time. It seems unfair that dd will pay tax on her bras and a premium just for having a larger chest than other girls get age.
DD has Asd so struggles already with puberty wish I could just pick her up a two pack from a less specialised shop.
Those sizes make sense so it's because her back is small 25 inches that the cup size increases.

And now. When you say 'backsize', are you measuring all the way round her chest - back and front in a circle. [Sorry if obvious]. 25 sounds like she is v skinny

Yes All the way round, I used the website recommended on the original bra intervention thread. Yes she is quite skinny, but she has a good appetite . I was very skinny as a child though so I think it's genetic.
