Can I put body butter in a lotion dispenser?

I'd like to use it as hand cream but it's so thick. I know I could use it straight from the tub but I'd like to put it into a hand cream dispenser as I find that easier to use. Is there a way to make it less thick? Thanks MNetters

I've never tried it maybe water down a TOUCH but other than that don't know

Yes I do, it works fine. It looks all lovely in my matching dispenser.
