Trainers

Anyone bought any trainers recently?

For dog walking mainly as I've been living in my lovely warm comfy wellies for beach and woods and I chucked my hiking boots before I moved recently so now fancy a new pair of trainers.

Not converse or Vans type, an actual pair of trainers. Not Nike Roshe as they looked strange on but a sporty style!

For walking try the sketchers go walks. I find them comfier for walking than trainers

I have a few pairs of skechers to walk and they are fab for the beach in the summer.

I'm looking for an actual trainer that looks like a trainer. I do have a lot of footwear already including trainers but I have an urgent for something new! I went shopping recently with my adult son and his girlfriend and looked at loads but nothing caught my eye.

Will have a look at internationalist.

I've found a pair of Pearl izumi's on Google but can't find them for sale.

Oh yes, New Balance, ID forgot about that brand. Not got any at the moment so will have a look.

Thanks for suggestions so far, everyone.

Saucony Jazz or Sketchers Go walk. Both comfy and non-achy

I live my asics, I bought them for jogging but frequently use them for summer dog walks too, they're so light and comfy.

What about Brooks? They are primarily running shoes rather than casual lifestyle and this is reflected in the price.

Salomon shoes are very good for that kind of thing.

How about these http://www.schuh.co.uk/womens/adidas-sl-72-dark-green-trainers/1920194170/]
Have also been browsing for trainers recently and can't decide between these and new balance

Ah, this one I can answer! Salomons - I have 8 pairs of Salomon trainers and hiking boots. I may be a slight addict but they are comfortable straight out of the box, brilliant quality and durable and they look good.

These are my go-to all rounders, I have 3 pairs in different colours. They're gore-tex so keep your feet dry and they have a nifty lacing system, you just pull the cord up, slide the toggle down and tuck the end in so no laces coming undone etc. They are so comfortable you won't want to wear anything else.

They come in loads more colour options than they have on the CO site.

Meant to say, they are my dog-walking staples for about 8 months of the year!
