I need a cheap fake tan recommendation for blue legs.

I don't normally do fake tan but will have my legs out for an event later this month. I'm looking for something cheap, but more crucially, a tan that doesn't develop over time. It needs to go on the colour that it is. Can anyone please recommend me a product?

My daughter uses St Moritz and seems to have good results but you must invest in a mitt. I'm sure she gets it in asda or primark for less than £5.

I use rimmel sun shimmer, in the light shade (have v white legs), and always repurchase as it is so easy to use and looks great. Never bothered with a mitt, it's very forgiving.

Thanks. Do these products go on as the colour or do they develop into the colour over time?

St Moritz goes on as the colour.

I use the medium one, it is more than enough for me. I think it might even be light/medium but i know it definitely says medium on it.

i needed something for my sons wedding a couple of weeks ago - I have horrid spider veins on my shins. Tried St Moritz in mousse ( I used to love it!) but it was awful. Tried their spray version and it was even worse! So the day before the wedding I bought Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs from Sainsburys. You actually spray it on you hands (weirdly) then smooth onto your legs. It was brilliant! I have used her stocking cream befor but I found the coverage too heavy for the Spring. Seriously it worked a treat. And was only about £7. I didn't have time to practice either, just had to do it on the day of the wedding! Give it a go!

Sally Hansen airbrush legs. I have it, it's in my bathroom cabinet, while I sit here with blue legs!

Another vote for Sally Hansen Airbrush Legs. Brilliant. Washes off. Brilliant.

IMO, the Sally Hansen stuff is the best thing for an event. You get a lovely result and it covers up bruises and veins as well

I've never found one the right colour and I've tried some of these. They all appear yellowish and make me look a bit dirty.

Very interested but nothing to suggest I'm afraid.

I agree about using Sally Hansen legs, it's amazing. I use it on my arms and back too. Rimmel sun shimmer is also good and I've used it for years, but I prefer the Sally Hansen now, the coverage is better.

St Moritz gradual, all the way. It's fantastic.

Yep Sally Hansen here too. It's just like foundation for your legs. You can get light, medium or dark - I have blue legs and use the medium for weddings etc although the light looks okay too.

Sally hansen, it washes off so you can reapply if you end up streaky.

Sally Hansen is too dark for me!!
I've never found a fake tan which gives a natural light glow...think I've tried everything.

No matter how much I exfoliate and moisturise I always end up with dark patches and streaks. Love the idea of it washing off.

I agree with Sally Hansen, its brilliant.

I do also use the original Fake Bake when I want a proper tan in the summer which is the most natural colour I have found.

I have one shade up from blue legs and I like the light sally hansen. It covers blemishes and makes them look pale but healthy.
