Babyliss Big Hair....what does it do to curly/wavy hair?

I've read a lot about the Babyliss Big Hair since I joined MN and it sounds fab....I'm thinking about purchasing BUT...

I have hair that is straight to somewhere between my cheekbones and chin and below that is quite wavy/curly...what does BBH do to curly/wavy hair?

I don't want to spend money to figure out it makes me look like an electrocuted poodle Hmm

I have very curly hair and use mine to style my hair in loose, smooth waves if I fancy a change and if I can be bothered

I have wavy/curly layered hair and I use it every time I wash my hair (dry 80% with dryer then style with BBH) it leaves my hair smooth and sleek that I just need to run my straighteners through. Plenty of volume and style lasts a couple of days. Have used it solidly for about 4 years

I'd get big loose curls with the bbh. I've had it all chopped off now but when it was long it looked great when I could be arsed to do it.

I might invest then. Wanted to check it wasn't going to end up in the graveyard of styling products I've bought and abandoned over the years Confused

I think they are a waste of time. I have longish curly / frizzy hair and it does nothing for it.
Also it's fairly easy to get hair tangled up, resulting in a big frizzy knot.

I had one. I never got to grips with it.

I have shoulder length spiral curls and I use my BabyLiss Big Hair to smooth it out into big, bouncy waves. I absolutely LOVE it!

I have long, loose ringlet type of hair. It can be madly curly if the mood takes it.

The Big Hair makes my hair relatively straight and sleek, but absolutely nothing like a professional blowdry. It may be my technique, but I generally don't bother using it. I either embrace my natural curls or spend £35 at the hairdresser every time I go out.

I have shoulder length curly hair, I must be using it wrong because it makes me look like sideshow bob. Of all my hair torture instruments this has been the biggest waste of money

I love mine.

My hair is naturally wavy & I have thick hair, but I dry to 80/90%, and then do the backwards ponytail blow dry, with the Babylis, and my hair will stay looking great for 4 days.

I couldn't be without it.

Gives me sort of 70s volume bouncey Charlies Angels hair.

Quite like it.....Wink

What's the backwards ponytail blow dry? And how do you get wavy hair with it? I've only managed to get mine straight!
