Bronzer for pale skin?

passmethewineplease · 21/02/2016 17:15

I'm looking for a good bronzer, I'm a redhead so quite pale, all the bronzes I've tried are so dark!

They make me look dirty. Confused

Any recommendations?

Thanks

Lots of people rate Benefit Hoola but it makes me look manky (I'm pale/freckled)

I bought a St Tropez powder bronze, it's nice.no glitter, just apply really sparely and build it up.

I really rate Too Faced Milk Chocolate when I'm at my palest. It's neither orange, brown or ruddy toned...just beigy enough to warm up even the coldest cadaver.

I like Benefit Dallas...with a light touch. A proper "how I would go, in the sun" shade on me.

The Dior powder bronzers come in several shades, including a lovely pale gold bronze that suits my very pale Celtic skin . Makes me look just a little bit tanned, very subtle . More expensive than other options but the compact lasts for ages .

The bourjois one that looks like a chocolate bar is lovely for pair skin

I have this issue, i use Make Up Academy from Superdrug mosaic bronzer - its only about £4 and it's ace - can certainly tell when i use the other bronzer I bought but this just makes me look less dead.

I'm pale and freckley and use Estée Lauder bronze goddess in the lightest colour. It's perfect. Not muddy at all.

Super pale here, I think the Body shop Honey Bronze Bronzing powder is pretty good in the palest shade - 01 (i think) but 02 is also quite fair.
Otherwise have you considered a blush with nude
tones, i basically agree that whenever i chuck on bronzer the effect is a bit muddy or dirty looking - i much prefer something like the Max Factor Creme Puff Blushes, a couple of the shades are muted nudes and give a bit of a bronzeish glow without looking too brown. I think Nude mauve is pretty good but google for swatches, lovely finish too and last ages.

I like the hourglass one in the palest shade. It blends very well and isn't at all sparkly but equally doesn't look muddy.

In the summer I also use the Charlotte Tilbury beachstick in Ibiza.

Now I know these 2 brands aren't well liked on here but I think those 2 products are really good.
