I currently like Carmex, Nuxe Rêve de miel, Burt's Bees (original one in a yellow tube).

Any other suggestions?

Blistex or blisteze - can't remember what it is called. In the white tube with red and blue. Amazing stuff.

I think have them everywhere (pocket, car, handbag, work) and keep using.
I have several Burts Bees (pomegranate and honey) in my handbags, a L'Occitane shea in my car and a Neals Yard in my works bag.
None shine out as my HG lipbalm.

I use a Lush llipscrub in the shower after I brush my teeth (it's messy) and DD likes the BodyShop Lipscuff, which is too coarse for me.

The Clinique one, in the green tube. Really stays in place and quenches parched lips on contact.

Bite Beauty Argave lip mask. It's brilliant but I don't know if you can get it in the UK. I got it at Sephora last time I was in the US.

Lanolips is also really good. You can get it at boots online if you can't get it instore. I like the lemonaid one.

Carmex

It is a yellow tube with red lid (or little metal yellow pot)

Blistex relief cream in the white metal tube with red lid. All the fancy branded cosmetic ones just sit on the surface.

carmex

I have about 5 pots on the go. Never go without it

The only one that works for me and the smell doesn't make me gag is the palmers cocoa butter original. My lips could be bleeding from being so dry and chapped and after just one day of using this they're lovely again

The best stuff I've found is Lansinoh nipple cream! Been using it on mine and DS lips as they've been very dry and cracked. Worked a treat!

Another vote for blistex relief cream.

Elizabeth Arden 8 Hour Cream, it's the only think that works on my chapped lips.

Lip Service from Lush. Only one I've found that actually stays put and doesn't melt off my lips after 5 mins which is annoying even when it's delicious.

Blistex is good if lips are really cracked up and sore, but I hardly ever use it since moving to Lip Service.

I like nuxe which you already use and Crème de La Mer.

Thanks so much everyone :-) I'm going to pop into town with a little list compiled from your responses and will report back when I've tried a couple!

I've tried all the ones mentioned above with the exception of la mer and the best so far has to be lanolips lemon aid

Vaseline Aloe Vera is marvellous and very cheap.

I second l'occitane - white tube, the flavored ones are not so god imo.

Or Hurraw.

I used blister if my lips are really sore, but hardly ever happens since I started these two.

Nuxe and Creme de la Mer as well. The latter is ludicrously pricey but a small pot lasts for ages. I was in hospital recently for a hideous innards infection that totally dehydrated me and it was the only thing that soothed my dry lips.

I have very dry lips prone to flaking (attractive) but I am conscious of something I read once. I think it might have been here actually, that using lip balm actually makes them drier? Can anyone confirm or deny this? I really want nice lips...

I agree with goodbye, lanisoh nipple cream, works a treat and the tube lasts ages!
